4 month stats!
On Friday Josiah had his 4 month checkup and shots. He weighed in at 14lbs 10 oz and was 24.5 in. That put him in the 25th percentile for weight 50th percentile for height and the 100th percentile for cuteness (hey, who am I to argue with medical statistics?) Anyway, he has hit all milestones for a 4 month old and again impressed our pedi with his neck strength and control. Our biggest concern with him is still his major spitting up issue which, unfortunately, has not improved as he has gotten older and has maybe even gotten worse. Our pedi suggested a newer kind of bottle to try that is recommended for babies who suffer from reflux or just spit up a lot, so I picked up a few on Friday and we have used them over the weekend. I do think they have helped a little bit, but haven’t been the magic bullet I was hoping for. The good news is Josiah is what is called a “happy spitter” and doesn’t have any pain or discomfort which pretty much rules out him having any reflux. And, soon he will be eating baby food and drinking less and less, so hopefully that will cut down on the episodes we have.
So, other than the projectile spit-up episodes, I am glad to report that Josiah is a happy and healthy 4 month old little boy. Here are a few pictures of our little guy.

My goodness how you have grown-Josiah!!!! Doesnt seem possible you should be using the jump-a-roo already. Talked to your cousin over the weekend and she is sending her pacy’s to you. Tell you Sis Hi and be a good boy. Love Grandma Barb and PapaJim
Where has time gone? Can’t believe your little guy is 4 months old and ready for such big toys! Won’t be long before he figures out that he can really make that thing move….then watch out. Anya, you and your brother are such sweeties! See you soon!
Love,
